Francisco Rodriguez Traded to Milwaukee: Who Closes for the Brew Crew?

Just after the end of the All-Star Game on Wednesday, it was announced that the Mets had traded their closer, Francisco Rodriguez, to the Milwaukee Brewers. So, who closes in Milwaukee, John Axford or Rodriguez? No official announcement has been made yet, but Disciples of Uecker had some thoughts on the subject. You can read them here.

What about the Mets? With Rodriguez gone, the prime candidates to pick up saves are Jason Isringhausen, Bobby Parnell and Pedro Beato. If I had to pick one, I’d go with Izzy. In fact, I just picked him up in our Baseball Professor league.
